These handmade leather buttons are so perfect for knitwear, especially woollen knits where handwashing is the order of the day that I felt I needed to share them! They are all individually cut, making each one unique and therefore perfectly suited to handmade knitwear. If they were identical and factory made they would loose their appeal, and lets face it, thats why knitters knit... to make something unique!
So many finished projects call for a BIG button and most of the ones Ive seen and used in the past are so heavy they pull down and distort the knitted fabric. Not so with leather! Light as a dandelion clock and washable. In short.... perfection!
