Making Meg
Ren Cuming
Golly, I can't even remember how long ago I made a Meg satchel - it's been an age! After a good rummage on my leather shelves I selected a 'hoarded' (did I just admit that?!) piece of rather lovely dark lavender. Exquisitely supple and thick, perfect for this chunky structured bag.

The plan is to gradually use up my stock leathers, partly because it's no good them sitting there unused, its cost efficient which especially matters since moving to ready-made, it reduces storage space needed in my workshop, and lastly, it just makes sense.
There was just enough leather for a single Owlsfoot bag and I think a Twitter. Chances are more Megs will be on my table very soon as well as more Scribe journals in natural browns I think.
What were you hoping to see in the shop? Do comment below.
Ever grateful, Ren x

Thank you so much for the suggestions 😊 good old faithful Pippin xx
Everything in your shop is always a happy delight to see. Meg and Twitter are strong favorites in my book (not that I need another of either.. well, maybe I could…) and recently I fished out a Pippin purse bought from when you had an Etsy shop. It’s slender enough to slip ok through a crack but expands so much! The occasional wren and dove as adornment would be lovely.
