The Finch Jumper is a hand-knitted, gently oversized jumper with classic raglan shoulder sleeves and a soft, relaxed silhouette — perfect for layering through every season. Its textured knit adds subtle detail, giving it a woodland, cottagecore charm.
Each jumper is crafted in small batches in my woodland studio, so slight variations make every piece one-of-a-kind. Designed for comfort and everyday wear, the jumper drapes softly on the body, creating a cozy, timeless look.

Textiles Information
Maker
I have been sewing for most of my life, starting at the age of six, armed with the Ladybird book of knitting and a determination to make anything I could imagine I set off to conquer the world. My style is inspired by the magic of the 70s — a childhood of orange, brown, and ditsy floral cottons, and a quieter world before technology took over. It has been a love affair of 50 years, and I still love every stitch.
I make small-batch and limited-edition pieces, so you’ll find that each dress or jumper is unique. Some may never be repeated, and each is made slowly, with attention and intention, designed to bring a little of that wonder and whimsy into everyday life, helping you feel at home in your clothes.
Sizing
I provide detailed measurements rather than standard size names. To find your best fit, compare a favourite garment to the measurements listed in each product. Some like their dresses loose, others prefer a closer fit.
Materials
All garments are made using natural fabrics, often sustainable deadstock cottons, linens, or mixed fibres in knitwear for easy care. Every piece is finished to a professional standard — no unfinished seams here.
Care
Dresses are made with pre-washed, pre-shrunk materials. I recommend machine washing at 30 and line drying (avoid tumble drying) - pop your pinny on and peg it out!
Knitwear should be handwashed gently - laid flat to dry.
