Footwear available in sizes UK 2 to UK 7 with styles designed to adapt to various width fittings adjusting from narrow to wide.

Shoes and boots are made using premium leather hides from gold-rated Italian tanneries, alongside world renowned Vibram soling for durability, sustainability and comfort.

I work with a deliberately limited palette, colours chosen for longevity and ease of wear over many years. A high-quality pair of handmade shoes is designed to last well over a decade, and a restrained colour choice supports that longevity.

Signature colours include: black, coffee, oak, tawny, moss, and honey. Swatch shown above. Colours straight from the woods!

A lighter-weight oak bark tanned leather is used for decorative elements (shown below main colours), chosen to correspond with the main leather colour. Additional decorative leather colours are: petrol, damson, and rust.

Fairysteps shoes have wandered far since their beginnings in 2002, and many imitations have appeared along the way. Yet every true pair is still made by the original fairy shoemaker, hand-shaped in my West Country woodland workshop from beautiful full-grain leathers, using time honoured traditional skills. There is only one maker of Fairysteps.

Please allow up to 10 weeks for dispatch. Each item is made individually in the studio and timing can vary depending on current workload.

International customers are responsible for any customs charges incurred on arrival. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to ship to European countries.

USA customers:

Orders are sent via the Royal Mail PDDP scheme, allowing parcels to move smoothly through customs. Usual customs charges may still apply, as before.

In the unlikely event that your parcel arrives damaged, please do not discard the packaging. Photograph the parcel before opening, as this is required to submit a claim. Without this evidence, a claim cannot be processed.

If your parcel does not arrive, please contact the postal service using the tracking number supplied at dispatch.

UK orders are fully insured. International orders are insured up to £250; any refund for loss or non-delivery is limited to this amount.

All made-to-order footwear are final sale and non-refundable. Each item is made specifically for you, using costly materials and many hours of skilled work.

Any of the styles from the Made-to-Order shoe collection make an excellent choice for bridal wear. Brides have the option to request specific ribbon shades which I will endeavour to match. Just ask in the notes box provided.
