Footwear available in sizes UK 2 to UK 7 with styles designed to adapt to various width fittings adjusting from narrow to wide.
Materials
Shoes and boots are made using premium leather hides from gold-rated Italian tanneries, alongside world renowned Vibram soling for durability, sustainability and comfort.
I work with a deliberately limited palette, colours chosen for longevity and ease of wear over many years. A high-quality pair of handmade shoes is designed to last well over a decade, and a restrained colour choice supports that longevity.
Signature colours include various woodland tones, with occasional seasonal specials.
A lighter-weight oak bark tanned leather is used for decorative elements, chosen to compliment the main leather colour.
Maker
All Dulcie May footwear is designed and made by me, Ren, in my woodland studio. I have been making shoes, boots, and bags for decades, working entirely by hand using vintage sewing machines and traditional techniques.
Care
Leather likes to be loved. Apply a good quality polish such as Renapur on a regular basis to keep your shoes and boots looking beautiful.
Delivery
All footwear is ready-made. Please allow 1 - 3 days for dispatch.
Shipping is available to England, Scotland, Wales, USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Shipping rates are shown at checkout, and full tracking details are provided when your order is dispatched.
International customers are responsible for any customs charges incurred on arrival. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to ship to European countries.
USA customers:
Orders are sent via the Royal Mail PDDP scheme, allowing parcels to move smoothly through customs. Usual customs charges may still apply, as before.
In the unlikely event that your parcel arrives damaged, please do not discard the packaging. Photograph the parcel before opening, as this is required to submit a claim. Without this evidence, a claim cannot be processed.
If your parcel does not arrive, please contact the postal service using the tracking number supplied at dispatch.
UK orders are fully insured. International orders are insured up to £250; any refund for loss or non-delivery is limited to this amount.
Returns
Ready-made shoes and boots may be returned within 14 days of delivery provided they are unworn, in new condition, and returned in their original packaging.
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. Refunds are subject to inspection of the returned item and exclude the original shipping cost.
Each pair is handcrafted using high-quality materials and many hours of skilled work. Please read all sizing information carefully before ordering to help avoid unnecessary returns. Any items requested / sold as made-to-order are strictly non refundable.
